A little gruesome in places, but I liked that it did not have bad language or explicit sex. All in all very good.

between cozy and not so cozy…

I really enjoyed “Blood and Justice”. It’s style reminded me of Mary Higgins Clark, as the reader sees into the perpetrator’s mind. For me, it hit just the right balance between scary modern crime novels that leave me stashing my martial arts weapons under the bed just in case, and the cozy mysteries that make me want Earl Grey tea and a nice nap. This fell in between; enough tension to discourage the nap and keep me turning pages, but not enough for me to wish my cat was a Rottweiler. I definitely want to read more in this series! Nice characterizations, well written, just an all around good read.

Lots of curveballs in this narrative along with tons of action.

Before they become the slayer’s next fatalities, the Lincolns battle to resolve a difficult enigma. The city is absorbed in terror as additional bodies heap up. Is this duo of investigators’Jake and Annie Lincoln’looking online for what may be the newest prey of a serial murderer? They were already called to investigate a missing person, Jenny James, by her distraught folks, and then they found her boyfriend’s body. Now they, too, are scared for their own lives. Will they be next on this murderer’s list? The PI’s Annie and Jake were a good match as partners. I also enjoyed Hank the cop. There are a lot of curveballs in this narrative along with tons of action. Enjoyable read.

I believe the story gave just enough info into each characters background, and didn’t overdo or give too much info, just to fill page space. Good story-line, and great characters, that made you want to continue turning pages, to gain more insight into their lives.

Almost scripted too perfectly. Crimes are not usually solved so quickly and so easily. Good to read a book without the foul language found in most books…I don’t read books with foul language..so thanks so much!!!!!you did a great job and I enjoyed it…

Try it….you’ll like it!!

This pleasurable read is filled with people you ‘know’. No fancy rich people. No tormented hero’s or heroine’s. Just real, neighborhood people that are likely to be your friends. Okay, Jake and Annie are PI’s. It’s what they do, not who they are.

A great read

‘Blood and Justice’ was a great thriller that pulled me in from the start and didn’t let go. The storyline was suspenseful and intense. The way it played out was intriguing. Definitely a great read. The characters were awesome. Jake and Annie made a super team. This is a series I’ll read more of. A great add to your tbr list. Recommended read.
